PPE CLEANING

We offer Advanced Cleaning, Decontamination and Biohazard Disinfection, all of which are performed by trained and experienced professionals.

PPE INSPECTION

Through advanced inspection, including complete liner inspection, we are able to identify damage and safety issues before they become a hazard to the firefighter. Early detection of damage on your gear through regular inspections can help prevent ongoing degradation, or identify signs of failure before it becomes a safety issue or leads to irreversible damage.

PPE REPAIR

Regular repairs can keep PPE in serviceable condition, and extend its safe, usable life, which significantly lowers PPE replacement rates. As a Verified ISP for all components of turnout gear, our repairs have passed testing by a certification organization. Our repairs are designed to meet your original specification on ANY brand of turnout gear and other PPE

ADVANCED CLEANING

Through Ozone cleaning, in combination with our proprietary cleaning process, we can effectively clean gear and other PPE without damage.

DECONTAMINATION

We clean the tough stuff- heavy concentrations of fuels, oils, paint, resins, grease, acids, tar, asbestos and other harmful contaminates. This extends the useful life of your turnouts, and helps stretch your budget.

BIOHAZARD DISINFECTION

Gear exposed to blood-borne pathogens such as HIV, hepatitis B or tuberculosis, can be treated with TotalCare’s help. We use an exclusive disinfection and sterilization process for suspected or known blood-borne pathogen contaminants or other viruses and bacteria.

COMPLETE LINER INSPECTION

If your gear has been in service three years or longer, you need to have a complete liner inspection performed annually. Your liner system is opened so that the hidden sides can be evaluated and a Water Barrier Penetration Test (hydrostatic testing) can be performed

ADVANCED INSPECTION

Charring or tearing on an outer shell may be easy to spot, but not on your liner system or leaks in your moisture barrier. TotalCare’s advanced inspection will uncover all issues to help keep you safe

Fireground goes beyond the obvious with advanced inspection services that go from your shell to your moisture barrier or liner system. For gear older than three years, we do an annual liner inspection, complete with hydrostatic testing and evaluation of hidden seams.

MORE COST EFFECTIVE THAN REPLACEMENT

Worn or damaged gear is often repairable and a more cost-effective solution than replacement. Fireground will repair gear without compromising its original construction to maximize the gear’s performance. We can also repair gear as part of its maintenance, fixing small issues before they become big problems.

As a verified independent service provider, our repairs are documented through a Quality Management System to demonstrate our proficiency in performing advanced repairs on turnout gear outer shells, thermal liners, and moisture barriers.
